Salvador ⁤Huizar, the older brother of disgraced‌ former Los​ Angeles City Councilmember José Huizar,​ was sentenced Friday to 100 hours of community service adn a $4,250 fine for lying to federal investigators.

Huizar admitted to repeatedly deceiving a federal grand jury and FBI agents about ⁤accepting envelopes of cash from his brother, who ​is ‌currently serving a 13-year prison sentence for bribery and tax evasion.
