Hugo Sigal Receives Standing Ovation at #LikeMe Concert, Continues to Shine at 76 Years Old

Hugo Sigal received a standing ovation at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp, where he performed with the young singers and actors of #LikeMe. The end of the successful TV series is being celebrated these days with four live concerts.

But Hugo doesn’t say goodbye to the stage: “I still want to do something and things will come my way, I hope. I’m going to be 76 years old, but I don’t feel that old. I’m not the type to be in the to sit in a chair zapping, zapping, zapping.“

“That’s also what Colleke said to me: keep doing what you do best. So sing and act. Don’t ask me to assemble a cupboard from Ikea, because I can’t do that,” laughs Hugo. “I feel the stage is my habitat. I want to entertain people, make people happy with songs and laughter.”
