Hugo Samir determined to give the best for Indonesian U-20 National Team while competing in U-20 Asian Cup.
Hugo Samir was selected to be included in the squad for the U-20 Asian Cup which will take place in Uzbekistan, 1-18 March. Thus, the tournament could be an opportunity for Hugo Samir to show his quality on the field.
“Yes, of course I’m ready, I’ve been training here for a month. Thank God, my condition is very ready to face the Asian Cup later.”
“[Soal target]The point is, I want to be able to bring the national team to win the Asian Cup,” said Hugo Samir at the release ceremony for the U-20 Indonesian national team.
Hugo Samir admitted that he was very grateful to be included in the U-20 Indonesian National Team squad. After entering the squad, Hugo Samir also had to compete to be able to get a place in the main team.
“Thank God because it was not easy for me to get here. The competition must be very tight because in the national team, they have very good quality.”
“There is no target goal, the important thing is that you can give your best,” said Hugo Samir.
The U-20 Indonesian national team is in group A with Uzbekistan, Iraq and Syria.
“We are ready and the best is that we can qualify from the group phase.”
