“My decision to join Eintracht was made quickly. I had a lot of conversations with Dino Toppmöller and Markus Krösche; there was already mutual interest in the summer. I am pleased to be here. I know the club and its successes, including winning the UEFA Europa League. There are some players who have developed well here. “It’s an interesting step for my career and the right decision,” said Ekitike, explaining the reasons for moving to SGE during his official introduction.
“I’m here because the coach and Markus Krösche gave me their trust. I’m happy about the opportunity to be here and want to repay the trust. I want to have fun on the pitch and support the team with my goals so that we can be successful,” the attacker continued.

Ekitike is looking forward to working with head coach Dino Toppmöller, as he said: “I particularly liked that he was honest with me straight away. That is what I needed. I sensed his interest. He wanted me to show him what I could bring to the field. The trainer can help me take the next step. I can talk to him at any time and am happy to work with him.”
