Hugh Jackman not “Logan”
Among the many superhero projects that will soon hit movie theaters, one of the most anticipated is Deadpool 3. The third part of the saga starring the mercenary played by Ryan Reynolds, is a title that fans await with great enthusiasm. because it marks the return of Hugh Jackman in the skin of Wolverine. And the publication of the first image of the film aroused great enthusiasm among the public.

With a release date scheduled for May 2024, Deadpool 3 is already underway. The new installment of the mercenary whose ability lies in an amazing healing power, will have as its axis an adventure shared with Wolverine. Despite meeting a devastating end in Logan, the X-Men mutant will return to the big screen, played again by Jackman.
In an effort to fuel expectations, Marvel shared a first still from the feature film, which finds the two anti-heroes walking through a sandy landscape. As expected, the networks enthusiastically received this image, which surprised by its remarkable detail.

Far from the black leather that the character wears since his first foray into the cinema in the year 2000, in the X-Men movie, Wolverine this time wears his characteristic yellow suit. This is a nod to the outfit he wore when Logan made his comic book debut in 1974, in the pages of a comic starring the Hulk. Although that mutant wore a brown suit for years, the yellow look was the most representative for Wolverine for several decades, and for this reason this photo represents a radical change in the image of that antihero.
Taking into account that Wolverine died in his last film, it is assumed that Deadpool 3 marks a journey of its protagonist through different continuities, in which alternative versions of various heroes will appear. This is a resource widely used in the current superhero cinema, and movies like Flash or Spider-Man: Through the Spider VerseThey make use of that resource.

Hugh Jackman will return to the role of Wolverine in Deadpool 3, as announced by Ryan Reynolds
In September last year, Ryan Reynolds himself starred in a witty video, in which he announced the start of the new feature film. In that clip, Ryan is sitting in the living room of a house while he tells his followers what his expectations are for this third installment of Deadpool, although judging by what he says, nothing original would be coming to mind.
However, everything changes when, in the middle of his story, Jackman nonchalantly walks behind him and the actor asks: “Hey, Hugh… do you want to be Wolverine one more time?” The answer is not long in coming: “Yes, of course Ryan”, he answers with a tone that does not show much emotion while he goes up the stairs, the one in charge of interpreting the superhero of the X-Men universe. Reynolds’ surprised face and Whitney Houston’s song “I Will Always Love You” (hit from The Bodyguard) conclude a scene that garnered endless likes in a matter of seconds.
