Hugh Jackman teases Ryan Reynolds back with his own gym photo

Ryan recently shared a photo from the gym showing him lifting heavy weights. “I’m not training for Deadpool,” the Canadian actor wrote about the superhero movie that should be released in 2024. “I’m training to spend months with Hugh Jackman, who isn’t as nice as everyone thinks.”

On Friday, Hugh shared his own photo from the gym in response, in which he also exercises with heavy weights. “He’s only 46, I’m older,” the 54-year-old actor jokingly writes in the caption. “But it’s not a competition.”

Ryan and Hugh have been teasing each other online for years. In November 2024, the two can be seen together in the third Deadpool-movie. Ryan plays the eponymous superhero, Jackman takes his role as Wolverine up again.
