Hugh Jackman says Deadpool 3 will offer a completely new version of Wolverine.
When I keep thinking about me and Ryan and Deadpool and Wolverine being the classic comic book rivals, they also have a dynamic that I’ve never done before as Wolverine. I just thought, “This is going to be fun. Something I’ve never done before. I can’t wait.”
Having previously announced his departure from the X-Men character, fans were shocked when he appeared alongside Ryan Reynolds in a Deadpool 3 commercial.
“I’ve come to terms with this,” Jackman continued. I’ve been asked every day, both in interviews and in Ryan Reynolds [говорил]: “Maybe we will repeat it?”, And I answered: “No, I’ve had enough””.
“Logan” was to be Jackman’s last appearance as Wolverine. The film received an Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay, becoming the first ever superhero film and the third highest-grossing R-rated film at the time of release. Not a bad way to go.
This continued until the actor looked at Deadpool, later calling Reynolds on the phone to tell him he was in. “I’m probably going to enjoy this movie more than any other I’ve ever done,” Jackman said at the time.
Deadpool 3 will be released on November 8, 2024.
