Hugh Jackman reveals some curiosities about his return as Logan

The return of the old man with the favorite adamantium breastplates, Hugh Jackman, seems ever closer. That’s why our favorite Australian actor has released new statements about him returning as Logan or Wolverine in the new Deadpool movie.

Anticipation is high in terms of the dumbbells Ryan Reynolds and Jackman will do on screen dressed in their mutant personas. The conundrum is what kind of relationship both anti-heroes will have, and more importantly what role Wolverine will play in this storyline.

Hugh Jackman was in the podcasts from Empire, where he talked a little bit about the dynamic between Deadpool and Logan. The actor said that between the two characters there will be a sort of dispute and repulsion, because while Deadpool tries to be close to Weapon X, Logan wants it away from him.

I’m just talking from my point of view, Wolverine is frustrated with him (Deadpool), wants to be a million miles away from him or wants to hit him over the head. Unfortunately, I can’t be a million miles away from him in this movie, so I’ll probably be hitting him over the head a lot.

As for the issues this new production could pose in the character’s timeline, which has already had his death and ending on tape Logano, from 2017, Jackman said there shouldn’t be a problem, as the events occur long before Old Logan. Additionally, he said he discussed it with director James Mangold, who was thrilled with the news of Wolverine’s return.

It was actually great. I told him it was before our movie so I wouldn’t screw up like my claws came out of the grave and that relieved him. And he understood it perfectly. He thought it was a great idea.

Finally, the grand lord of adamantium ended up saying that, although there is no date yet for the start of recordings, production is a fact, that shooting will probably begin in the summer of next year and that the film should be released until November 2024.
