Not much is known about the story of the Dungeons & Dragons film adaptation, but the Paramount film studio announced a new lead actor on Tuesday. Hugh Grant is set to play the bad guy in the as-yet-untitled movie.

Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith and Regé-Jean Page have previously signed on for roles in the film around the game. It also became clear on Tuesday that Sophia Lillis, known for her roles in the It films and drama Uncle Frank, will be seen in the film. The film adaptation’s script will be written by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, who previously worked on the screenplays for the Horrible Bosses films and Spider-Man: Homecoming, among others.

A film version of Dungeons & Dragons, which formed the basis of the role playing game trend in the 80s, has been on the reel for years. A rights conflict between game maker Hasbro, which acquired the company that once released Dungeons & Dragons, film studio Warner, and a third party claiming to have the license put the project on hold for years.

Dungeons & Dragons was launched almost fifty years ago. More than 50 million people have now played it.
