Hugh Grant is a well-known British actor and film producer who has been in numerous hit movies throughout his career. Born on September 9, 1960 in London, England, Grant initially aspired to go into politics, but turned to acting after enrolling at New College, Oxford University.
Grant’s first major role was in the 1987 romantic comedy The Princess Bride, where he played the role of William Thacker. His performance in this film earned him wide recognition and opened up more opportunities for him to showcase his talents on screen. In 1994, Grant established himself as one of Britain’s greatest actors with his leading role in Four Weddings and a Funeral.
