SHORT, Hugh Francis
Passed away peacefully at L.H.S.C. Victoria Hospital on Sunday, November 24, 2024 in his 86th year, Hugh Short. Beloved husband of the late Claire Short for 50 years. Dear father of Theresa Short, Sheila Clarke (late Guy), late Patricia Leonard (Chris) and Susan Macedo (Firmino). Cherished grandfather of Lisa, Joshua (Samantha), Kaley and Grace. Dear brother of late Mary McTaggart (Ross), Terry Wood (Ken), and Bill Short (Maureen). Hugh will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, and many friends. A longtime member of St. John the Divine Church, a member of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Wednesday, November 27 from 2-4 and 7-9 o’clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Divine Church, 390 Base Line Road West, on Thursday morning, November 28 at 11 o’clock. Interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Donations to Canadian Blood Services or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
