Kochi: Huge drug hunt in Kochi. Narcotics worth more than 12,000 crore rupees have been seized in a joint investigation by NBC-Navy. Officials informed in a press conference that this is the third largest drug bust in the country.

2500 kg of methamphetamine, 500 kg of heroin and 529 kg of hashish oil were seized. This is the largest cache of methamphetamine ever seized.

The Narcotic Control Bureau and the Navy seized the drug stock that was taken by sea from Afghanistan. A Pakistani national has been arrested in connection with the incident.
