A unique piece of music roared in Senate Square.
On Thursday evening, a piece of music was heard in Senatintor, next to the State Council Castle and Helsinki Cathedral, as part of the traditional Night of the Arts, which according to the organizer will only be performed once.
According to preliminary information, more than 130 performers gathered for the piece called Basso, who are united by playing low-frequency instruments. The work was composed by Lauri Fuckknown for his orchestral and film music works. Porra is also the bassist of the well-known metal band Stratovarius.
– There will be a choir of bass singers, a low-frequency line-up of brass players and a rhythm legion of electric bassists and percussionists, says the website of Taiteiden yö.
The organizer describes the event as “a gathering of bass sounds of all time”.
