NASA finally released the photos from
James Webb Space Telescope (James Webb Space Telescope / JWST) which cost up to USD 10 billion. The
technology is new and advanced, the lens is also much bigger.
Many are curious, how big is the difference in the results of the image quality between JWST and the Hubble telescope that NASA has used for the last 30 years.
Hubble itself is a space telescope that is already old. Because, it has been launched since 1990. Furthermore, Hubble has captured various images of galaxies, nebulae, planets, and stars.
However, JWST totally in a different class than Hubble. It can be seen from the series of photos how JWST can record photos of space objects with much more detail and sharpness.
The first photograph that is interesting to compare is that of the Southern Ring Nebula, also known as the “Eight Burst” nebula.
The nebula itself is one of the most beautiful space phenomena. Nebula in the Latin word “cloud”, is formed from hydrogen gas, helium and plasma which is often known as the birthplace of stars.
A nebula is about half a light year in diameter, and is located 2,000 light years from Earth. This is the Nebula captured by the Hubble telescope:

Hubble’s photo of the Nebula is actually stunning. But still different when compared to the JWST Nebula photo which is much more detailed.
“This image is so beautiful, it’s very difficult to describe in words,” said Amber Straughn, Deputy Project Scientist at NASA JWST.
