Huawei’s newest notebook with a large screen in Hungary

Huawei has expanded its range of notebooks in Hungary with a revolutionary product. Along with the global trend of remote work and distance learning, the demand for large-screen, high-performance, lightweight laptops has increased. The company responded to this by creating its latest product, the MateBook D 16. One of the most outstanding novelties of the new model is that Huawei has integrated the 16″ display into a device housing in which several other manufacturers only place 15.6″ screens. Thanks to this, the device facilitates the simultaneous handling of multiple tasks and work efficiency.

Huge, eye-friendly display, high-performance processor

The MateBook D 16’s 16″ FullView display provides a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio and a 16:10 aspect ratio for the first time in this model. The light metal body of the device weighs just 1.7 kg, similar to 15.6-inch laptops. The notebook also has a TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certificate, thanks to which it accurately reproduces the colors of images without causing a yellowish tint, thus protecting the eyes of users. In addition, the display uses direct current brightness control, helping users to reduce eye strain.

The Huawei MateBook D 16 is powered by a 12th generation Intel Core H-series processor, up to -i7-12700H, with a TDP of up to 40W, dual-channel RAM and a high-speed SSD drive that flawlessly and efficiently handles complex tasks too.

The powerful performance is contributed by the innovative Huawei Metaline Antenna technology, which ensures a stable wireless network: even with a weak Wi-Fi signal, the download speed increases by 55 percent, while computer games and video conferences run 57 percent and 67 percent more smoothly, respectively.

With the device’s Smart conference solution with AI voice and AI camera, an optimal online meeting space can be created almost anywhere and at any time. The crystal-clear 1080P AI camera makes video conferencing more enjoyable thanks to its image quality and intelligent artificial intelligence functions. During a video call, the AI Camera Follow Camera function adjusts the screen in real time so that the speaker stays in the center of the image, so even if they move, they won’t distract from the subject. The Eye Contact function intelligently adapts to the user’s field of vision with the help of artificial intelligence, so it seems as if the speakers are not looking into the camera, but into each other’s eyes.

The new notebook’s AI noise reduction algorithms reduce the background noise of calls, and the Personal Voice Enhancement function helps you focus on the caller. In addition, the four microphones located on the edges of the MateBook D 16 housing enable sound recording from sources up to five meters away from the device.

Super Device: a new level of multi-device collaboration

AD 16 takes multi-device collaboration to a whole new level thanks to the manufacturer’s unique Super Device solution. With the innovative software innovation, the notebook can be easily connected to other nearby Huawei devices. To do this, it is enough to place the given device near the MateBook D 16, and it will automatically recognize them, giving the possibility of quick and easy pairing. In the case of smartphones and tablets, after connection, the user interface of the given device appears on the laptop screen, so the external device can be handled as if it were one device with the laptop: files can be accessed and edited, up to three phone application windows can be opened at the same time, the video received on the phone or voice calls can be received via the MateBook, and even the mouse and keyboard can be used to control the smartphone.

In addition, in Mirroring mode, the laptop screen can be projected onto the tablet, so that both devices show the same content. This allows the tablet to benefit from the performance of the laptop, while the laptop can access the tablet’s stylus, making drawing easier. With the Extension mode function, the laptop display can be extended to the tablet as an external monitor, which can prove useful when taking notes. The Collaboration mode allows you to share content between devices with a simple swipe.

In addition, MateBook D 16 can also be connected to MateView monitors. The notebook is capable of Super Device multi-device file management, which allows users to easily manage files on their connected devices, and also enables AI search, which ensures a quick search for files and images on PC, Internet and other connected devices.
