Huawei will Launch Matebook 16

Huawei will launch several products on May 19.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SHENZHEN – Huawei will launch several products on May 19. Products to be launched are Matebook 16 and flagship FreeBuds 4 TWS earphones.

Reporting from GSMArena, Friday (14/5), this news was confirmed by teaser on the company’s Weibo page. The announcement is ongoing in China and expect to see the MateBook 16, which differs from the already available Matebook D 16, as well as the new FreeBuds 4.

Maybe both of them will be the highlight of the event. However, the information, there will be other devices that will also be launched. Children’s watches Huawei 4X, Body Fat Scale 3 Pro, H6 router and two PC monitors will also be launched. One of the monitors will be for office jobs, while the other will compete in the segment gaming.

HarmonyOS
Previously, the stable HarmonyOS 2.0 was rumored to be present next month. The first devices that will run this OS are two smartwatches as well as the Huawe MatePad 2 and MatePad Pro 2.

Leaks regarding the two upcoming Mate Pads have also been circulating. One MatePad has a 12.2-inch display and one with a 12.6-inch 120Hz panel. The 12.9-inch model will be powered by the Kirin 9000 and will run “PadOS”, a custom version of Harmony for tablets. The tablet will support 40W wired and 27W wireless charging. There should be a 5G version too.

The other two devices are the Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro. Both will run HarmonyOS with an updated UI and will be equipped with an eSIM for mobile data, which will enable WeChat and other features. Compared to the Watch GT series, it will offer more functionality at the expense of battery life.

As for the Huawei P50 series, which will initially be the first phones to have HarmonyOS out of the box, the launch is yet to be announced.
