Jakarta

On the brand’s 5th anniversary celebration MateBook, Huawei released four new MateBook laptops. What are they, and when will they be released in Indonesia?

The most premium variant of the new MateBook is the MateBook X Pro, which has a thin body with a 3K FullView display. The second is the MateBook 14 which is also equipped with a FullView screen.

The other two MateBook variants are the D14 and D15, which are the cheapest compared to the previous two variants. According to Cheng Lei, Product Marketing Director of Tablet and PC Business, the four MateBooks have different segments.

MateBook X Pro targets professional workers and business people, then MateBook 14 for users who are concerned with lifestyle, and variants of the D14 and D15 for students and university students.

“Since it was first released in 2016, the MateBook’s design has always been an advantage. But we also ensure quality software and hardware support, and we also present the latest innovations on the MateBook,” Cheng Li said in a virtual press conference, Thursday (15/4/2021) .

One of the innovations presented by this is Multi Screen Collaboration, where users can seamlessly connect a laptop with a cellphone. This feature is not only presented for the highest variant, but also for the cheaper variant.

“All MateBooks share the same technological innovations, as well as a thin design without sacrificing performance,” added Cheng Li.

But there are mainstay features that make this MateBook line a favorite of its users. Namely a fingerprint scanner feature called Huawei Free Touch.

Regarding specifications, all variants of the new MateBook use an 11th generation Intel Core processor. For the MateBook X Pro and MateBook 14 there are variants up to Core i7, while D14 and D15 are up to Core i5.

Regarding the screen, the highest resolution is on the MateBook X Pro, which is a 3K FullView screen with a 3: 2 ratio. While the MateBook 14 screen is FullView 2K. Both have a body-to-screen ratio of 91%.

According to Cheng Li, the four new MateBook products will be present in Indonesia at the end of April 2021. Interested in buying them, detikers?
