Huawei has confirmed the release of its new MatePad Pro tablet with its HarmonyOS operating system. The Huawei MatePad Pro is equipped with a Kirin 9000E processor as well as a 12.6-inch OLED FullView display with a screen occupancy rate of 90%. The FullView OLED display also supports a high contrast ratio of one million for one and a wide DCI-P3 color gamut.
The screen of the Huawei MatePad Pro is completed by an eight-speaker sound system, consisting of tweeters and woofers.
To help users quickly locate the apps they need, the Huawei MatePad Pro features a new lower Dock that displays not only frequently used apps, but also recently used apps. The new widgets can display information in real time and allow users to quickly access certain functions of the applications without even launching them. These widgets can be placed anywhere, and are also fully customizable in order to personalize the device according to one’s preferences.
3 modes: Mirror, Extend Mode and Collaboration
Under HarmonyOS, the new Huawei MatePad Pro supports new multi-screen tablet-PC collaboration features: Mirror Mode, Extend Mode and Collaboration Mode.
In Mirror Mode, the screen of the connected PC is mirrored on the tablet screen, allowing users to directly sign and annotate documents, or draw on the PC with the Huawei M-Pencil (2nd generation ) and the Huawei MatePad Pro, as professional designers would with a tablet and stylus.
Extend Mode turns the Huawei MatePad Pro into a second display, providing additional space to display more content.
As for Collaboration Mode, it allows interaction between HarmonyOS and Windows, allowing users to transfer content such as text, images and documents between connected devices with a simple drag and drop.
L’App Multiplier
With the launch of the Huawei MatePad Pro, App Multiplier brings new ways to take full advantage of horizontal screens. When an app is displayed in a single window with the new Multiplier App active, it is now possible to swipe over the empty spaces on either side of the tablet screen to scroll the app content up and down. down, without letting go of the tablet.
Huawei M-Pencil (2nd Generation) and Huawei Smart Magnetic Keyboard
The Huawei M-Pencil (2nd generation) has a new transparent platinum tip of this pen that presents itself with an icy texture. The pen is compatible with the Huawei FreeScript function, allowing handwritten content to be transformed into encoded text in real time. It is also possible to use the drawing function on third party applications.
The Huawei Smart Magnetic Keyboard is a keyboard whose keys have a typing depth of 1.3 mm.
