RANCAH POST – Huawei has quietly launched a new tablet called MatePad T10 in Indonesia to help increase user productivity during a pandemic.
The MatePad T10 comes with a 9.7-inch IPS LCD screen that produces a resolution of 800 x 1,280 pixels. This screen is also equipped with a Blue Light feature to prevent eye fatigue.
Not to forget, this tablet has also been certified by TÜV Rheinland which will protect the user’s vision.
Huawei MatePad T10 has body dimensions of 240.2 x 159 x 7.85 mm and weighs 450 grams. This device runs on the Android 10 operating system layered with the EMUI 10.1 interface.
The kitchen is entrusted with the Kirin 710A chip paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal memory which can still be expanded up to 512GB with the help of a microSD card.
About the camera, the MatePad T10 has one front camera and one back camera. Where the rear camera uses a 5 MP sensor with an f / 2.2 aperture, while the front camera offers a 2 MP f / 2.4 resolution.
The battery itself has a capacity of 5,100 mAh which can be recharged via a USB Type-C cable. For connectivity, this tablet only supports WiFi only, aka it can’t be installed with a SIM card.
Not quite there, the Huawei MatePad T10 presents symmetrical audio on both sides which is equipped with the Huawei Histen 6.1 feature. This feature is claimed to be capable of producing 9.1-channel 3D surround audio. In addition, there is also a Bass Booster feature that can be adjusted according to personal preferences.
Huawei also complements this tablet with the Kids Corner feature, a virtual room with many parental control settings to customize the children’s experience.
Kids Corner comes with Recorder, Camera, Kids Painting and Multimedia – where parents can share multimedia content such as photos and videos with their children.
In the settings menu, parents can easily add apps and content that they allow children to access and set usage time limits.
The eBook mode is also entered into the Kids Corner. When activated, the tablet adjusts the colors on the display to offer a paper-like reading experience

The Huawei MatePad T10 is exclusively sold at e-commerce JD.id with a price tag of IDR 2,299,000. Interestingly, consumers who make purchases on March 9 to 15, 2021 will get a special offer in the form of a direct discount of IDR 400,000.
