Huawei Releases New Version of MateBook D14 Laptop in Indonesia, Cheaper Price

KOMPAS.com – Huawei officially presented the latest version of the MateBook D14 laptop in Indonesia on Wednesday (27/7/2022). The presence of the MateBook D14 in the country was announced on the sidelines of the “Huawei APAC Smart Office Launch 2022” at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Center (BITEC), Bangkok, Thailand.

Huawei MateBook D14 itself fills the lower class segment, with new processor variants. Huawei Device Indonesia’s Training Director, Edy Supartono, said that this new version of the Huawei MateBook D14 comes with a version of the 11th generation Intel Core processor Core i3-1115G4.

Previously in December 2021, Huawei had released the Huawei MateBook D14 laptop with an Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor for the Indonesian market. The laptop is sold for Rp. 14 million for 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of memory.

Meanwhile, the latest version is priced at a lower price.

“The specifications of the MateBook D14 Core i3-1115G4 are still similar to the 2021 version. The difference is only in the processor, the Huawei MateBook D14 2021 uses i5, now the Huawei MateBook D14 uses i3,” said Edy when met by a number of media crew from Indonesia after the Huawei APAC launch event Smart Office Launch 2022 in Bangkok, Thailand.

According to Edy, the Huawei MateBook D14 version of the Intel Core i3-1115G4 processor needs to be released in Indonesia to complement Huawei’s latest laptop product line in Indonesia.

“So, we release this MateBook D14 i3 to complete the level press point from new products that come out (in Indonesia),” said Edy.

He explained that his party already had a laptop high end with the MateBook X Pro series as well mid-range with the MateBook D16 series in Indonesia. Well, in the segment entry-levelHuawei chose to present the MateBook D14 version of the Intel Core i3-1115G4.
