Great news for Huawei: Qualcomm has officially obtained commercial permits from the US. Here’s what changes
After the various rumors and rumors that have emerged in recent days, now the official has arrived: Qualcomm has gotten the green light from the US to trade with Huawei. After the various bans in recent months, the semiconductor manufacturer will be able to sell its chips to the Colossus of Shenzen.
The news was reported by the Reuters news agency, which also got the chance to interview a Qualcomm spokesperson. The latter did not comment which 4G products will be sold to Huawei, but officially confirmed that the company obtained trade permits from the US government. Now only a few details are missing regarding license applications, which are still pending with the Trump administration.

Huawei can again trade with Qualcomm: what changes
The news is official, and was reported by Reuters: Qualcomm has obtained commercial permits from the US, and will be able to return to trade with Huawei. The Shenzen company can therefore smile and – in all probability – it will replace HiSilicon Kirin chips with those of the semiconductor manufacturer. Bernstein Stacy Rasgon, a well-established analyst, however, stated that the license however, it will have a limited impact, as it only covers 4G chips.
