Through its website, DxOMark reveals that the HUAWEI P50 Pro has excellent performance for all its camera sensors. Indeed the overall DxOMark score shows that the P50 Pro is the current leader in smartphone cameras with a score of 144 points.
Meanwhile, the 13 MP camera embedded by Huawei on the front of the P50 Pro has a combined score of 106 points, which also tops the Selfie category. DxOMark mentions that the image quality of the front camera is also very good, with low noise, substantial detail, and effective video stabilization.
The 50 MP main sensor and the 40 MP monochrome module of the P50 Pro are also capable of producing outstanding image and video quality. The HUAWEI P50 Pro also has a 64 MP periscope camera for zoomed-in shots, which is clearly the leader in the category with low noise, detail and wide dynamic range.
The DxOMark score reflects an overall good camera setup for the device. The night photos also show that the P50 Pro is reliable. Video from the Huawei P50 Pro camera also shows excellent exposure, dynamic range, and stable autofocus performance.
