Huawei P50 Pro 4G full specs leaked ahead of tomorrow’s unveiling

Huawei will present its P50 series tomorrow, which would also include a Pro variant. The company hasn’t disclosed much about the P50 line of smartphones yet, but specifications for the P50 Pro 4G (JAD-AL50) have surfaced today, leaving little to the imagination.

The Huawei P50 Pro 4G will be powered by the Kirin 9000 SoC associated with 8 GB of RAM. It will have 256GB and 512GB storage options, but you can add an additional 256GB of external storage with an NM card.

The P50 Pro 4G will contain a 6.6 ″ 120 Hz OLED panel with a resolution of 2700 x 1228 pixels with a pixel density of 450 ppi, a touch sampling rate of 300 Hz and a PWM dimming of 1440 Hz. The screen will also have a fingerprint reader underneath for biometric authentication.

The camera department on the Kirin 9000-powered smartphone will consist of a total of five cameras – a 13MP selfie unit on the front, with the quad camera setup on the rear comprising 50MP primary (with OIS), 64MP telephoto (zoom 3.5x optical, 100x digital zoom, OIS), 40MP monochrome and 13MP ultra-wide units. The smartphone will also be able to record 960FPS slow motion videos in 1080p resolution.

The Huawei P50 Pro 4G will be 8.5mm thick and will come with a 4,360mAh battery that supports 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The rest of its highlights include tops. – Stereo speakers, IP68 rating and USB-C 3.1.

It’s unclear if we’ll get a P50 Pro with 5G connectivity, and if we don’t, it’ll be interesting to know why.
