Reported from Hitekno–network Ayosemarang, Huawei’s Senior Product Manager, Wang Yonggang, explained Huawei’s journey as they developed the P series in the global market. He shared this 100 million unit sales achievement through a blog post on the Huawei Xinsheng online forum (an online community for Huawei users in China). Huawei first started development for the Huawei Ascend P1 in early summer 2011.

After months of market research and prototyping, they finally launched the Huawei Ascend P1 in January 2012 with a 4.3-inch AMOLED display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, and camera rear 8 MP.
They also released the Huawei Ascend P2 which is a HP flagship first company with Kirin chipset.
Reporting from Gizmochina, the company released the Huawei P9 with settings camera double back in 2016 ago.
This is Huawei’s first device with a lens camera collaboration with Leica. The next generation leap in photography is the release of the Huawei P20 Pro with triple setup camera.

They feature wide lens configurations, monochrome lenses, and telephoto lenses for versatile photography. It was one of the breakthroughs in the mobile photography industry in 2018.
The latest Huawei devices in the P Series are the Huawei P50 and Huawei P50 Pocket. The latter device is Huawei’s first foldable smartphone in the P series. Huawei P50 Pocket is equipped with a 6.9-inch Foldable OLED display with a resolution of 1188 x 2790 pixels.
Some of the specifications of the Huawei P50 Pocket are the Snapdragon 888 4G chipset, three camera rear (40 MP + 13 MP + 32 MP), camera selfie 10.7 MP, and cover display 1.04 inches. The company is now relying on HarmonyOS on its latest devices, including Huawei P series. It’s quite interesting looking forward to Huawei’s breakthrough with HP flagship with the company’s OS in the near future.
