Harianjogja.com, JOGJA — Huawei has opened preorders for its flagship ultrabook laptop, Huawei Matebook 16sMay 23, 2022 for the Chinese market.
Pre-orders are open until June 18, 2022 in China along with national online shopping sales of 6.18 followed by Huawei.
Huawei Matebook 16s is equipped with 3 configurations of Intel 12th Gen Alder Lake processor. And the price for each configuration during the pre-order promo is as follows:
Core i5-12500H + RAM 16GB + SSD 512GB – 6799 RMB (1021 USD)
Core i7-12700H + RAM 16GB + SSD 512GB – 7799 RMB (1171 USD)
Core i9-12900H + RAM 16GB + SSD 1TB – 8799 RMB (1321 USD)
There is no dedicated GPU option for the Huawei Matebook 16s, which means all Huawei Matebook 16s processor models rely on Intel’s Iris Xe Integrated Graphics for GPU performance.
The Huawei Matebook 16s comes with a 16-inch IPS LCD touch screen that offers a screen resolution of 2520 x 1680 pixels, 3:2 aspect ratio, 300 nits brightness, and 1500:1 contrast ratio. Unfortunately, the RAM on the Huawei Matebook 16s is soldered with 16GB LPDDR4x RAM, which means you can’t replace the RAM. While the SSD provided on the laptop is an NVME PCIe SSD.
As an ultrabook, this device comes in a lightweight aluminum chassis and features a fingerprint sensor on the power button for biometric security.
