Huawei began rolling out a new HarmonyOS software update for Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G which mainly installs January 2022 security patch. This update increases the security level of the smartphone and protects the device against threats.
The Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G January 2022 update comes with HarmonyOS firmware version 2.0.0.220, which is upgraded from version 2.0.0.218. Users are recommended to keep an eye on the software update section to grab this update quickly.
Currently, the January 2022 Security Update is rolling out in batches, so it may take some time to appear on your device. Also, while updating, keep the phone charged to at least 30% and above and maintain enough storage.
With the January 2022 HarmonyOS security update, Huawei fixes 4 framework CVEs, 10 system CVEs, and 5 application CVEs. Additionally, it also resolves the massive 111 CVEs found in third-party libraries for better security.
