BEIJING – Huawei launched the next-generation MatePad series of tablets, consisting of the MatePad Pro 10, MatePad Pro 11 and MatePad Pro 12.6. But of the three series, the 12.6-inch version is the top with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB and 256 GB of storage space.
Reported Gizmochina, Saturday (31/7/2021), Huawei has now launched a new storage version with 512GB of storage. This is an option for those who want more storage space on their MatePads.

The new variant is available in both WiFi and 5G versions. The WiFi version will retail for 7,699 yuan (approximately Rp. 17.2 million) while the 5G version will be priced at 8,999 yuan (about Rp. 20 million). Both options will be bundled with the second-generation Huawei M-Pencil and an exclusive smart magnetic keyboard.
As a reminder, MatePad Pro 12.6 It features a 12.6-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and 5.6mm thin bezels that provide a 90% screen ratio. The display has a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, DCI-P3 color gamut, and a Delta E color accuracy rating of less than 0.5. It is also the first tablet in the world to receive the TÜV Rheinland Full Care Display 2.0 certification.

The MatePad is powered by the Kirin 9000 series chipset the Wi-Fi version is equipped with the Kirin 9000E while the 5G version packs the Kirin 9000 chipset. There is support for storage expansion via Huawei’s NM card slot.
Inside, this MatePad uses a 10050 mAh battery that will last up to 14 hours. The device supports 40W fast wired charging, 27W wireless fast charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
