Huawei Matepad 11.5: Affordable Tablet Launching in Indonesia with New TWS

Huawei will again launch a new tablet in Indonesia which has a more affordable price and also a new TWS

Huawei’s success in selling tablets in 2023 is unlikely to stop with just 2 devices. After the Huawei Matepad 11 aimed at the market mainstream as well as Matepad Air sold in the market premium, there will be another tablet from Huawei. The name of the device is Huawei Matepad 11.5.

This tablet will be present in Indonesia on August 21, 2023. Huawei Matepad 11.5 is deliberately presented in Indonesia for those who feel that the 2 previous devices are still too expensive. So, Huawei sells the Matepad 11.5 for the market entry level at a more affordable price.

As usual, Huawei invites journalists to get acquainted with its new devices before the launch event. The invitation was made on August 15, 2023 which took place at SAB House Panglima Polim. In this event, I was invited to the first session which was held at 10 am.

This was said by Patrick Ru as Country Head of Huawei Device Indonesia, that the need for performance tablets at affordable prices is increasing in Indonesia. Therefore, Patrick said that they were again presenting a PC-flavored tablet, the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5. The launch of this tablet confirms Huawei’s commitment to providing the best productivity solutions at affordable prices. This entry-level tablet carries reliable performance and supports various accessories like premium class tablets.

On this one device, Huawei is back with WPS Office which is specifically made for Matepad. It means user interface-it will be similar to the WPS desktop version. Indeed, this is what distinguishes Huawei tablets from other devices on the Indonesian market. Using it will also be minimal learning when you’ve had enough familiar with software such as Microsoft Office.

This device will also get accessories that are more or less the same as its two older siblings. It’s like back case keyboard, Huawei M-Pen, and also Mouse with the Robot brand. But the difference this time is that the Huawei Matepad 11.5 doesn’t support charging the M-Pen battery directly, so you have to go through a cable.

The Huawei Matepad 11.5 comes with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. This makes it the first device to use this SoC. The installed RAM will have a capacity of 8 GB. The screen itself has a resolution of 2.2K, an aspect ratio of 3:2 and refresh rate 120Hz.

Apart from Matepad, Huawei will also introduce a new TWS called Freebuds SE 2. Just like the tablet, this TWS is also included in the category entry level. Total battery usage can reach 40 hours.

For the prices of these two devices, of course we have to wait for the upcoming 21 August 2023. Reportedly, the Huawei Matepad 11.5 will be sold at a price level of 5 million. To be sure, let’s just wait until the launch.
