This premium laptop from Huawei has a thin body and light weight. MateBook X Pro is already powered by 12th Gen Intel Core i. How much does it cost?
At an event held by Huawei in Bangkok on July 27, 2022, one of the devices launched was the Huawei MateBook X Pro. This laptop is aimed at the more premium market. Of course this is very visible from its thin shape and premium design. Huawei made the Matebook X Pro with metal.
The metal material has been made by Huawei with coating anti-rust. For its weight, the MateBook X Pro is only 1.26 kg. The screen on this laptop has dimensions of 14.2 inches which contains 92.5% of the entire body.
The screen has a resolution of 3120 x 2080 with 264 PPI. This is accompanied by refresh rate 90 Hz and 10 touch points on the screen. The screen also supports 2 color gamuts, namely DCI-P4 and sRGB. For security, the screen already has 9H Super hardness which is scratch resistant.
For the cooling system, this thin laptop is equipped with 2 Huawei Shark Fin Fans. Air is also taken from 3 sides of the laptop, namely from the left, right, and the front. The MateBook X Pro also uses a vapor chamber to even out the heat so it’s easy to dissipate.
To support Smart Office from Huawei, MateBook X Pro also supports the Smart Conference feature. This means that the installed camera already has an AI Camera. This laptop itself has 6 speakers to make the sound louder and louder. In addition, the front of this laptop already uses 4 microphone.
To improve performance, Huawei has equipped the MateBook X Pro with the Super Turbo feature. This feature will later increase the performance of the CPU, GPU, RAM, internal storage, and even the battery. Huawei claims that Super Turbo is able to increase performance by up to 34% and efficiency by up to 50%.
Huawei MateBook X Pro already uses the latest 12th generation Intel Core i processor. For those entering Indonesia, the processor chosen is Intel Core i7 1260P with 4P + 8E cores. Despite using a TDP of 28 watts, Huawei increased it to 30 watts.
The Huawei MateBook X Pro is currently available in Indonesia. This laptop is sold at a price of Rp. 32,999,000 and only variants with Intel Core i7 1260P are sold. Users also get several prizes with a total of Rp. 3,200,000 which includes backpack, office, mouseand Telkomsel Orbit.
Unfortunately, at the event in Bangkok, with very tight time, I couldn’t try this device with enough time. But when you look at the design, this device does look beautiful. I really like the design touchpadIts not the usual box like most laptops. This makes it easy to click the button mouse left and right.
Due to its thinness, this device has a 4 port USB-C. Huawei itself has mentioned that all 4 of them support Thunderbolt 4. So, users of this device just need to buy a USB-C hub so they can use USB-A which currently dominates the external storage market. In addition, USB-C hubs usually also provide HDMI and RJ45 for LAN.
