Technologue.id, Bangkok – The Huawei Smart Office 2022 event held in Bangkok, Thailand is the birthplace of the Huawei MateBook X Pro. This laptop that is included in the ultra-premium segment brings many significant improvements from its predecessor, the 2021 version.
Huawei MateBook X Pro 2022 comes with a strong yet lightweight magnesium material. The claimed weight is only around 1.26 kg, making this laptop very comfortable to carry everywhere. Plus, the specifications that it carries are not kidding.

This device is the first Huawei laptop in Indonesia that has carried the Intel Evo certification. The processor is entrusted to the 12th generation Intel Core i7 aka the newest, combined with the Intel Iris Xe graphics chip and the use of 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. For storage media, the MateBook X Pro 2022 is equipped with an NVME PCIe SSD which has a capacity of 1 TB.
With this combination, the actual performance of this laptop is very, very capable. But Huawei is still equipping it with the Super Turbo feature, which will automatically overclock to boost performance as needed. Just press the keyboard keys Fn + P to activate it.

Because the Real Color FullView Display screen with a span of 14.2 inches on this laptop is the first in the world to get Eye Comfort 3.0 certification by TUV Rheinland. In addition, the screen also supports 10-point multi-touch sensitive which is responsive when touched.
Turning to another part, the webcam on the MateBook X Pro is also equipped with AI features. Through the follow cam function, face tracking, or even eye contact, the webcam is able to detect user movements when conducting online meetings. Moreover, Huawei has also embedded up to four mics, so that speech will be caught clearly from any angle. This laptop also has six speakers. So it’s not just online meetings, enjoying music and movies also feels more alive.

As for connectivity, this laptop has two Thunderbolt 4 ports and two USB Type-C ports which are also useful as a charging point for the 60 Wh lithium polymer battery. Interestingly, the 90-watt charger you get has tiny dimensions like an HP charger.
As Huawei’s most expensive device, the MateBook X Pro certainly supports the Super Device feature. This feature allows users to connect between other Huawei devices, such as smartphones and tablets. With Super Device, users can share files just by swiping on the screen.
