Huawei MateBook D16 Launches with Big Screen and Sexy Body

Technologue.idBangkok – In the premium class, a manufacturer from China officially released the MateBook D16 together with the celebration of Huawei Smart Office 2022. The appeal of this laptop is in its wide screen size, but has a light weight.
Not only that, Huawei also offers the MateBook D16 with a sexy design. In total, this laptop weighs only 1.7 kg. Even though the screen has a span of 16 inches full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels). However, its dimensions match a 15-inch laptop, aka more compact.

The Huawei MateBook D16 is aimed at the upper segment, so it’s not surprising that the specifications are also high-end. The processor uses a 12th Generation Intel Core, namely Core i7-12700H or Core i5-12450H. Combined with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of NVME PCIe SSD storage.
Besides that, the interesting part of this device is the Huawei Metalline Antenna technology that it carries. Its use is able to boost WiFi signal strength up to 56% better. The MateBook D16 itself is Huawei’s first laptop to receive this technology.
Meanwhile, other connectivity provided by this laptop includes two USB-C ports which are also used for charging, USB 3.2, USB 2.0, HDMI, and 3.5 mm audio. Including bluetooth 5.1.
For online meeting activities, the MateBook D16 is equipped with a 1080p webcam for a clear view and four mics for clearer sound. Meanwhile, for the convenience of working, this device uses a full-sized keyboard with a numeric keypad. There is also a fingerprint scanner that is integrated with the power button.
For power supply, this laptop is entrusted with a 60 Wh capacity battery which is supplied by a 65 watt charger plugged into the USB-C port.
This laptop can be ordered in Indonesia. For the variant with a Core i7-12700H processor, the price is set at IDR 16.9 million. As for the variant with a Core i5-12450H processor, it is priced at Rp. 13.9 million.
“The Huawei MateBook D16 is designed as a large screen laptop that bridges the gap between the ultra-premium Huawei MateBoox X Pro and the entry-level line of D series laptops,” said Patrick Ru, Country Head of Huawei Device Indonesia.

In addition to the MateBook D16, at the same event Huawei also released the MateBook D14 which is powered by an Intel Core i3-1115G4 processor. The price of this entry-level laptop is offered at IDR 7 million.
