Huawei is preparing to release two new laptops, namely MateBook D14 and D15, on 25 August.
These two laptops are the successors of the previous MateBook series that were released in Indonesia. For example, the MateBook D15, which they claim has received a very good reception from consumers in Indonesia.
“September 2020, we launched the HUAWEI MateBook D15 and received a tremendous response from Indonesian consumers. Only through JD.ID 1,000 units were sold within five days,” said Patrick Ru, Country Head of Huawei Consumer Business Group Indonesia, in a virtual press conference, Thursday (19/8/2021).
“Seeing this interest, Huawei will again introduce the latest series of HUAWEI MateBook D for Indonesian consumers,” he added.
Huawei did not reveal many specifications for the two laptops, but according to Edy Supartono, Training Director of Huawei CBG Indonesia, both the D14 and D15 will use a 10th generation Intel Core i3 processor with 8GB DDR4 RAM and 256GB SSD storage.
Edy also stated that the D14 and D15 have thin and slim bodies, and screens with 1080p resolution. This screen also has thin bezels, which are 4.8mm for the D14 and 5.3mm for the D15.
“The MateBook D14 weighs 1.38kg and the Matebook D15 weighs 1.53kg,” he added.
One of the mainstay features of these two laptops is Multi-Screen Collaboration, which allows Huawei laptops to connect with Huawei tablets and phones. Users can use it simultaneously, including to send files between devices easily.
“With the convenience of this device and the support from Huawei’s strong ecosystem, consumers will be able to stay productive and time efficient while doing their activities which will create a more balanced lifestyle for a better work or study environment. We are pleased to introduce the new family of HUAWEI MateBooks This D Series goes to the Indonesian market,” concluded Patrick.
Huawei MateBook D Series will be launched on August 25, 2021. Huawei MateBook D15 will be directly available through official Huawei stores at Shopee, Tokopedia, JD.ID, BliBli, Eraspace and Huawei Experience Store (HES) offline stores, Erafone, Eraspace, and Urban Republic in Indonesia.
