Huawei Mate 40 Soon to Release

Jakarta

Huawei is certain to release soon Mate 40, and the unique thing is this news emerged from Huawei’s official Twitter account.

This news emerged after the Mate 40 was previously said to be delayed until 2021. However, via its Twitter account, Huawei UK said the Mate 40 would be released in the near future.

“We have interesting news for you .. #HuaweiMate next generation will come in the near future,” wrote @HuaweiMobileUK.

Previously, it was reported that the Mate 40 will indeed be launched in a live streaming event in mid-October. However, the Mate 40 is only for the Chinese market, and it is not yet known whether it will be marketed in other countries.

Mate 40 is said to be using the Kirin 9000 as its brain, which is a system on a chip (SoC) with a 5nm process and is integrated with a 5G modem. This is different from the A14 Bionic that Apple released with the new iPad Air, which uses an external modem.

But there are also those who say that the Kirin 9000 will only be used on the Mate 40 Pro and Pro +, while the regular Mate 40 will use the Kirin 9000E.

The availability of the Kirin 9000 chip is said to be very limited because TSMC is blocked by regulations from the United States, so it cannot continue to supply its chips to Huawei.

Initially, Huawei was said to have ordered 15 million chips from TSMC, but due to regulatory obstacles, in the end only 8.8 million chips could be shipped. So in other words, Huawei can only produce 8.8 million units Mate 40.
