Huawei launched a special tablet designed for children, namely the MatePad T10 Kids Edition in Indonesia.
This tablet is equipped with several features tailored to the needs of children, including support for a stylus pen.
The stylus is made of food-grade material to make it safe if bitten by a child. To make children more interested, this tablet has a special collection of wallpapers for children that parents can choose from.
Huawei MatePad T10 Kids Edition focuses on features that support education and entertainment that are tailored to the age group of its users.
For example, children can take virtual classes through video conferencing applications, read e-books, watch videos, take pictures, draw and color, or play games.
Country Head Huawei CBG Indonesia Patrick Ru said that the Matepad T10 Kids Edition started the effort Huawei developing gadgets dedicated specifically to children.
“New tablet Huawei specially designed for children is a reflection of our built innovation and commitment to solving problems and enhancing creativity,” said Patrick in his statement.
MatePad T10 Kids Edition is also equipped with parental control features to monitor and set a time limit for use by children, along with multi layered eye protection to help protect the eyes from the effects of blue light.
Huawei MatePad T10 Kids Edition itself has a 9.7-inch IPS screen (1,290 x 800 pixels), 2 MP front camera, 5 MP rear camera, Kirin 710A chip, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB internal media which can be expanded with microSD up to 512 GB, and Android 10 OS layered with EMUI 10.1.
Other specifications include a 5,100 mAh battery, WLAN 802.11a/b/g/n/ac in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB type C.
Huawei The Mate Pad T10 Kids Edition is priced at IDR 2,899,000. Pre-orders for this device are open from June 16-25. During the pre-order period, Huawei offers a number of benefits, starting from a gift box containing a kids case, a stylus pen, and an exclusive panda toy.
