Huawei has announced another tablet in the MatePad series. The new model is called Huawei MatePad 2023.
What is known
The tablet has become a representative of the budget class. It has wide frames and modest specifications. The Huawei MatePad 2023 is equipped with an IPS display with a resolution of 2800 x 1440 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a diagonal of 11.5”.
The hardware platform of the tablet is built around the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. The chip is supplemented with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The capacity of the drive was, depending on the modification, 128 GB or 256 GB.
Huawei MatePad 2023 received a main camera with a resolution of 13 MP and an 8 MP selfie module. The battery capacity was 7700 mAh, and the fast charging power was 22.5 watts. The tablet also has Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, stereo speakers, stylus and keyboard support. The fingerprint scanner is missing.
The cost of Huawei MatePad 2023 was $235 or $265 depending on the amount of built-in memory. The tablet will go on sale in blue, gray and silver body colors with a preinstalled operating system HarmonyOS 3.1.
