With this design, users only need to clamp the two earbuds to their earlobes like wearing earrings.
“Users only need to clamp the two earbuds into each earlobe, similar to wearing earrings, without needing to insert the speaker module into the ear hole,” said Huawei Device Indonesia Training Director Edy Supartono, in the HUAWEI FreeClip Media Rountable activity at Habitate, Jakarta, Thursday (4/1/2023).
Edy again mentioned that the curve of the C-bridge connector on the HUAWEI FreeClip maximizes the comfort of the user’s ears.

Meanwhile, the adaptive sensor is able to regulate the amount of pressure between the earbuds that clamps the earlobe, so it doesn’t cause pain.
“The design of the Comfort Bean which is shaped like a bean and the Acoustic Ball which is round on the HUAWEI FreeClip is also ergonomic, following the contour of the user’s head and ears,” he said.
The combination of three parts that become one in this innovative design also means that the FreeClip does not fall easily when used during activities.
“FreeClip is suitable for those who like to run and women who wear the hijab,” said Edy.

The unique design presented in TWS is claimed to have been tested on 10 thousand ears to ensure user comfort.
“Every design we make, we make for comfort. We tested 10 thousand earlobes to get a shape like this,” said Edy.
Weight and IP54 rating
HUAWEI FreeClip is made with a light weight of only 5.7 grams per earbud. Apart from that, this TWS device also has an IP54 rating, which means it is water and sweat resistant.
