The Taiwanese company HTC has introduced a simplified version of the U23 Pro smartphone. The model is simply called HTC U23.
What is known
The key differences between the two new products are in the camera and memory. HTC U23 is equipped with a main camera with a resolution of 64 MP + 2 MP and is available in 8/128 GB versions. At the same time, the Pro version has three modules (108 MP + 5 MP + 2 MP), optical stabilization, and also offers users 8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal memory.
If we talk about other key characteristics, they are the same. The standard edition also received a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, a 4600 mAh battery, 30 W and 15 W wired and wireless charging, respectively. The OLED display has a diagonal of 6.7”, Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The front side of the HTC U23 is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. The fingerprint scanner is installed on the side. The smartphone also has NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 32-megapixel selfie camera and support for the VIVERSE VR platform. Water resistant to IP67 standard
Price and when to expect
HTC U23 will appear on the market with a pre-installed Android 13 operating system. The cost and start date of sales of the smartphone are not specified. For comparison, HTC U23 in Taiwan starts at $520.
