HTC Introduces New Entry-Level Smartphone ‘Wildfire E Star’ in Africa

Taiwanese HTC unveiled a new entry-level smartphone called ‘Wildfire E Star’ in Africa.

The Wildfire E Star features a 6.5-inch LCD display with 720 x 1600 pixel HD+ resolution and is powered by the UniSoC SC9832E chipset. It supports face recognition unlock and side fingerprint sensor.

In addition, the inside is equipped with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, and a 3000mAh battery that supports 5W charging through the USB-C port, and the storage is expandable through the microSD slot.

The operating system runs on the Android 12 Go operating system, and 8MP and 5MP cameras are provided on the front and back, respectively. In addition, it provides a dual SIM function and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

HTC has yet to release ‘Wildfire E Star’ release date and price information.
