HTC introduces Desire 20+ with 5000mAh battery and 3.5mm connection – Tablets and phones – News

HTC is releasing the Desire 20+ in Taiwan, a smartphone with Snapdragon 720G-soc, 5000mAh battery, four cameras on the back and a housing with a 3.5mm connection. The device is very similar to the Desire 20 Pro, which was also released in the Netherlands earlier.

Of HTC Desire 20+ has a 6.5 “LCD with a 20: 9 ratio and a resolution of 1600×720 pixels, which means that the device has a lower resolution than the Desire 20 Pro, which has a full HD + screen. The phone does get a newer soc, it is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720G, which is a 4g soc with Wi-Fi 6 support. Inside the Desire 20 Pro is the Snapdragon 665 from last year.

The device has dimensions of 164.9×75.7x9mm and weighs 203 grams. On the back is a fingerprint scanner and a camera island with four lenses. The primary camera has a 48-megapixel sensor and an f / 1.8 lens. Furthermore, there is a 5-megapixel camera with ultra-wide angle lens and the phone also has a macro camera and depth sensor.

On the front is a 16-megapixel front camera, which is incorporated in a drop-shaped notch in the center of the screen. The phone runs on Android 10, has a 5000mAh battery and a 3.5mm jack. In Taiwan, the Desire 20+ will be released this week for 8,490 Taiwanese dollar. Converted that is about 251 euros.

It is not yet known whether HTC will also release the Desire 20+ in the Netherlands and Belgium. Earlier this year, the HTC Desire 20 Pro came out here, for 289 euros. A few months earlier, that phone was released in Taiwan.
