The younger brother of football legend Hristo Stoichkov has left the country. For several months Tsanko has been leading a life as an emigrant in Germany, writes “Retro”. He went to the western country due to the lack of money in our country, and there he quickly managed to settle down and find a job.
“Neither poverty can destroy strong souls, nor wealth can uplift low souls,” comments Stoichkov, Jr., whose relationship with his father has had ups and downs over the years.
Tsanko, who will turn 43 in November, had an ambition to enter politics. Last year, he told Nova TV that he intends to found a party to run with in the next election, but he won’t seek the support of his brother.
Apparently, however, his plans have run out. Shortly before emigrating, he lived with his mother Penka in their home in the village of Yasno Pole in Plovdiv. Tsanko used to help the pensioner with the garden work, but at the moment she takes care of everything by herself. Aunt Penka, as everyone in the neighborhood calls her, is extremely active and not afraid of hard work. At the age of 73, she produces a rich harvest of vegetables, she recently harvested grapes and added material for homemade brandy. She also looked after the animals and her freezer was full of meat all year round. She last saw her son Hristo on television as a guest guest on the hit BTV reality show “The Farm”.
