He is currently undergoing a rehabilitation course at St. Naum Hospital. It is going well and his friends and colleagues expect him to be discharged and start his plans within 2-3 weeks. Among them is the next edition of the Sofia Theater Salon and the awards of the “Ikar” union, which are traditionally given out on March 27, the International Theater Day.

We remind you that on October 26, Mutafchiev suffered a stroke during filming of a new film in Burgas. He was operated on the same day at the capital hospital “St. Ivan Rilski” to remove a large clot from the brain. Hristo Mutafchiev is one of the most beloved Bulgarian actors, who for more than 5 years as the president of the Union of Artists has represented his colleagues from the various theater guilds with dignity.
