Ivanov complained about the lack of dialogue with “There is such a people”
The co-chairman of Democratic Bulgaria, Hristo Ivanov, said he was ready to take responsibility and become prime minister if necessary. In an interview with Free Europe, he stressed that “there are other solutions to this post” and that is why it is not on the agenda at the moment. Asked whether he was politically mature enough to become prime minister and whether he would bear such responsibility, Ivanov said he had already “borne the responsibility to raise some of the most difficult issues in Bulgarian politics.”
“Of course, I can take the responsibility to finish my work and I will do everything necessary for Bulgaria to get rid of this shocking situation. I am ready to do everything necessary, including taking this responsibility. But there are other decisions regarding This is an instrumental question, what I am saying is that I am ready to bear political responsibility to the end.
Ivanov complained about the lack of dialogue with Slavi Trifonov’s party “There is such a people”. According to him, “Democratic Bulgaria” has many times tried to start a conversation with their representatives on policies and programs, not on the distribution of positions, but still unsuccessfully. According to him, “There is such a people” is a logical partner for government, as it supported last year’s protests.
