Home team Vlkanova got into the first serious action of the match, sending the rebounded ball to Heča in the penalty area, but the hard shot ended up right in the arms of the Slovakian goalkeeper.
Heča also distinguished himself during the break of his former teammate Mihálik, jumping under his feet to collect the ball in the penalty area, thereby preventing the opening of the score. But the “Votroks” striker got injured and was soon replaced by Griger, a new acquisition from Hradec Králové.
The visiting coach West also introduced the new September reinforcement Kukučka, he already put the guest from Sparta in the foundation. The entire defense of the Moravian team was busy with the active play of the home team. Only occasionally did the visitors have the strength left for quick counterattacks, but this did not result in a significant threat to Zadražil’s goal.
The very first shot between the posts in the match meant the first goal. Vlkanova fluffed a free kick in front of the visiting goal and Hradec stopper Čihák opened the scoring with his head. With his third hit in the league season, he confirmed his position as the team’s best scorer.
A few minutes later, Griger only hit the post after an action with the gusto of Čihák. The second goal hung in the air, and when it did fall, Petrášek’s shot was called off due to offside by video referee Szikszay.
In the first half, Slovácko did not get into the offensive game at all. The “invaders” completely eliminated not only Krmenčík, but also Havlík and other offensive players. After changing sides, their game was revived by the mobile Kim Sung-pin, who also got other teammates down.
The image of the game has changed. The Moravians took the initiative and forced the home team into a defensive block. In the 57th minute, Krmenčík made himself known for the first time with a shot just wide.
Akcie Slovácko was brought down 10 minutes later by an errant Trávník in the middle of the pitch. The ball easily reached Griger, who advanced to the goal, passed between the two Slovakian stoppers and scored his first league goal on the Czech scene.
The wind took away the wind from the outstretched offensive sails of the visitors. Hradec was in control of the game and deservedly reached the goal in the form of three points, which the substitute Čmelík secured even more with a shot to the post. The Slovak player scored the first hit in the league season.
Goal throws in Teplice
In the 9th round of the first league, Ostrava’s footballers won 3:2 in Teplice, triumphed away in the highest competition after eight matches, for the first time since April, and moved to fourth place in the incomplete table.
Due to the representative window and the floods, both teams started the competitive match after three weeks. The long pause was noticeable in the game, the opening half hour did not offer any more interesting events.
It wasn’t until the 34th minute that Bílek found Jásir with a cross in front of the goal, whose header was headed only to Gning by goalkeeper Markovič, who finished from close range. The Senegalese striker scored for the fourth time in the league season, scoring all the hits in the last five rounds.
The Slezans got a chance to equalize three minutes later. Cykalo, who replaced the injured league debutant Danihel in the 23rd minute, committed a foul on the right side five meters behind the Šín penalty area. From an angle, Buchta chose a surprising shot around the two-man wall instead of the center, and goalkeeper Němeček was not able to move to the near post in time. The 25-year-old midfielder scored the first goal in the year of the top competition.
In the 52nd minute, Baník turned the score around with another curious goal. The German caught a high cross from the corner with his gloves, but at the impact he slightly bumped into the standing Kpoz, dropped the ball and Pojezný scored an easy premier league hit in his career into the open net.
After an hour of the game, Tanko, in a separate escape, made an inaccurate pass to Bucht, who did not press the shot into the goal in the slide. Slezany’s unconverted chance did not last long. In the 65th minute, Ewerton found the rebound and sent it off the post and into the net with a beautiful shot. With his third goal in the league season, the Ostrava captain became the top scorer in the team.
The shaken “Skláři” could no longer resist more. They only created pressure in the set-up and in the last minute Cykalo scored the first league goal with an exhibition shot from behind the box, but there was no time left for the home side to turn around. Ostrava won at Teplice Stínadly in the league for the fourth time in a row.
Vecheta’s winning shot
Karviné football players beat Jablonec 1:0 at home and won on their own field for the first time in the top league season at the fifth attempt. Filip Vecheta decided the match already in the first half. Karviná moved to eighth place in the incomplete table with the same point gain as sixth place Jablonec.
The Slezans broke two unpleasant streaks. They succeeded at home, so the last team České Budějovice is the only team that has not yet won on their own turf. In addition, they finally defeated an unpopular opponent, they had not defeated Jablonec ten times in a row in the league before Saturday’s duel. The North Bohemians lost the second of the last six rounds.
Both sides had chances at the beginning of the match. Jablonecký Martinec hit the side netting of Lapeš’s goal with a volley. On the other side, goalkeeper Hanuš caught Samko’s sharp shot. The guests then had a quick break, but Kanakiman’s shot was blocked by Lapesh in the fall.
The goal action in the 21st minute started with Bergqvist, who won the fight in his own half. Botos from the right side crossed the ground in front of a small goal, from where Memič stamped the post and it was no longer a problem for Vecheta to reach the abandoned goal. Karviná’s activity paid off, when Botos had another chance, Jablonec defenders turned the ball away for a corner at the last moment.
