Companies specializing in HR (talent management) are expanding their business. It appears to be expanding the market with various business models, such as supporting office worker clubs, launching new services, and expanding overseas.

○Support for work clubs

Flex, an HR platform company, recently opened the ‘Flex Team Tennis League’, a competition for tennis clubs within the company. 72 tennis clubs from 65 companies, including Samsung Electronics, SK Telecom, Woori Bank, Kakao, and LG Display, participated. Plex provides an all-in-one HR platform in the form of software as a service (SaaS).

This is why the company established various sports-related partnerships and also established a ‘Flex Team Tennis League’.

Last month, HR tech startup In8 introduced a new ‘Domain Game Diagnostic Debriefer Training Course’ to train corporate human resources managers into behavioral science experts. The goal of this course is to train human resources managers as behavioral science experts who directly design and implement various programs suited to the organization.

In8’s ‘Domain Game Diagnosis’ analyzes more than 1,000 pieces of various behavioral data, including the test taker’s natural response speed while playing the game, correct/incorrect response rate, and behavioral pattern changes according to test conditions. The company explains that the test taker’s condition is analyzed based on accurate diagnosis results.

The basic course is designed to help HR managers quickly acquire the core behavioral science competencies required for HR jobs. It is composed of the basics of HR diagnosis, understanding behavioral science research methodology, ‘professional diagnostic tools that HR must know’, practice of designing organizational diagnosis questions, and practice of analyzing collected data. The advanced course covers in detail the theoretical background of diagnosis, diagnosis-based program design practice, diagnostic debriefing basics and applications, and diagnostic debriefing practice.

○ Advancement of government recruitment platform

Wanted Lab recently announced that it was selected for the government’s ‘Development and verification of AI-based integrated recruitment and job search support solution’ project. This project is one of the ‘Ministry Collaboration-Based AI Expansion Projects’ organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA). The purpose of the ‘Development and verification of AI-based recruitment and job search integrated support solution’ project is to enhance job matching by upgrading the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s employment information system (Worknet). Job seekers can obtain reliable job information by blocking false job offers, and recruiting companies can save recruitment costs through support for writing job postings, provision of recruitment success models (prediction of hiring probability), and talent recommendation solutions.

McKinley Rice, which operates Reddrop, a ‘cross-border HR’ platform that discovers and recruits global talent, is expanding its business in the Indian HR market. As of last July, it had helped 1.5 million people find jobs in India over the past six months. Hwasa explained that the factors behind its business performance include identity verification technology tailored to the Indian market, employment test provision services, and partnerships with over 500 Indian engineering colleges.
