hello. Jongcheol Lee’s tricky review, today I brought you a lightweight yet high-performance laptop. HP Pavilion Aero 13. Now, recently, many companies are taking on the challenge of making laptops lighter. Besides LG, do you know which company is producing the most meaningful results? This is HP. Several models weighing less than 1kg have been released. Most models with an aero designation weigh less than 1kg. Among these Aero models, the one I brought today is the most recent Aero 13-be2061AU model.
Now, let’s look at the exterior first. A very thin design was applied. If you look at the side, it wasn’t possible to fit all of the USB-A ports, so it was made to open slightly. That’s because it’s too thin. However, what is surprising is that they somehow managed to fit a full-size HDMI 2.1 into the thickest part. It’s not a mini. It’s amazing. I touched the bottom of this HDMI to see if it would break because it was too thin, but it was very hard.
Now, it’s quite large compared to a touchpad laptop. Many keyboards have a fingerprint recognition button at the top of the keyboard. However, this product hangs under the keyboard. This part was the most convenient.
Now, the display has 400 nits of brightness, which is the same level as the MacBook Air. The resolution is 1920×1200, which is the same as full HD. The ratio is not 16:9, but 16:10, which is the trend these days, so you can see it as slightly stretched to the side.
Most importantly, the weight was almost stress-free. Some of these weigh over 1kg. For products weighing 1.2 and 1.3 kg, you will need a backpack anyway. But the bag I usually like is this bag that looks like a fishing net. Even if you put it in a bag like this, you barely feel any discomfort. Tote bags are used a lot these days regardless of gender. There is no problem putting it in a tote bag.
Normally, if you feel heavy at work, it’s good to make excuses. Oh, the bag is not heavy. Ah, my laptop battery runs out quickly. I won’t do it. Well, I couldn’t come up with an excuse like that.
It is said that the battery can be used for up to 11 hours and 15 minutes, but in the case of Windows products, you only need to use about 2/3 of this. Instead, the adapter is very small and cute. There is no problem carrying it around with you. There is a USB-C terminal that can be charged. So it was possible to charge it with a cell phone charger. So, you can charge your phone and laptop alternately with a single phone charger.
Now, performance. No one will be doing very heavy work with this product. This one has an AMD Ryzen 5 7535U processor. It is a processor that came out about a year ago and is often compared to Intel’s i5-1335U. Compared to Intel products, most Intel products rank higher. Multi-core performance, that is, when performing multiple tasks at once, the 7535U is slightly higher. And in the case of GPU, Ryzen 5 is evaluated better. So, when it comes to creative work, it may have a slight advantage over Intel – something like that.
Now, I tried the creative apps Photoshop and Premiere. I ran a 4K video that took about 6-7 minutes to render on a good laptop with an external GPU, and it took about 15 minutes. It’s more than twice that, but it can run up to 4K anyway – look at it like this. It didn’t stop because of an error in the middle. The video was output properly. Starting with 8K editing, you cannot use products like this. You must use a product with an external GPU. So the conclusion is, how can you use it up to 4K?
It may seem like a low-priced product, but it has 6 cores and 12 threads and a maximum clock speed of 4.55 GHz, so the performance is not easy. It is very suitable for people like me who use light videos and a lot of text. However, since it weighs less than 1kg, it is very good for work.
Now, an unexpected advantage: there are only two channels of sound, but Bang & Olufsen speakers are used. So, a sound that cannot be produced from such a small laptop is produced. So it was great for listening to music and watching OTT.
Let me put it bluntly. First of all, it’s smaller than a gram. Even type 15 grams weigh less than 1kg. 2 inches, it’s bigger than I thought. It’s a drawback.
Okay, and I came here because I didn’t like Gram, but it looks so much like Gram. If you look closely, there are many very luxurious elements. But when I first received it, was it a gram? No gram. I would like to. It’s called ceramic white color, and it’s matte white. This is too similar to Gram’s White. So you’ll have to keep explaining that it’s not a gram.
Now, then, should you buy this product or not?
I hate the way Gram looks. Don’t buy it. Similar.
I just hate the gram. buy. It’s one of the few alternatives.
I want to buy it with confidence in AS and performance. buy. HP is a brand you can trust.
