According to the report, the Chromebook market is highly competitive, with many companies vying for the top positions, and HP has found success due to the popularity of its models among consumers and educational institutions alike.
In early 2023, sales were down due to economic uncertainty, and sellers responded by creating new models, including large screen for distance learning and mixed work situations. However, there was an uptick in Chromebook shipments by the end of the quarter as some sellers expected higher Chrome OS license costs in the second half of 2023 and submit applications accordingly.
