HP announced a number of unfamiliar PCs for the hybrid work era. Both products are difficult to find on the market. The HP Envy Move 24, a portable all-in-one PC, is a 23.8-inch QHD desktop weighing only 4.1 kg. The screen used an IPS panel. The processor used is the 13th generation Intel Core processor i5-1335U, a low-power product mainly used in laptops, and is equipped with 8GB LPDDR5 onboard memory.
The keyboard can be stored on the back of the product. The keyboard has a built-in trackpad, so there is no need to use a separate mouse, and the touch screen allows direct operation by touch. As a portable product, it has a handle on the top and a built-in folding stand on both sides of the bottom that allows the product to stand up.

As this is a product that can be used on the go at home, a lot of attention is paid to audio. It is equipped with Bang & Olufsen audio and is also equipped with AI Adaptive Audio, which recognizes the space and distributes sound.
HP says these features allow for exercise, entertainment, office work, and compact storage.
Like a laptop, the Envy Move 24 is equipped with a 5MP wide vision camera with a privacy shutter, so it can also be used for video conferencing. An illumination sensor works together with the camera to automatically adjust brightness.
What is disappointing is the time it takes to utilize it. As it is a portable product, it has an internal battery, so the maximum usage time when watching videos is 4 hours, but it is unfortunate that you end up having to carry an adapter to fill regular working hours when working outside.
HP’s first foldable laptop also appeared. The HP Specter Foldable, which measures 17 inches when unfolded, is equipped with the 12th generation Intel Core i7 processor, HP’s collaboration solution HP Presence 2.0, and the Intel Unison function that enables Android-iPhone connection on Windows. The usage time is also not short. You can use it for up to 12 hours in laptop mode and up to 11 hours in desktop mode.
The product is defined as a tablet mode when placed vertically, a desktop mode when placed horizontally, and a laptop mode when folded and placed with a keyboard. In laptop mode, you can use it in three ways: 12.3 compact mode when you cover the entire back with the keyboard, 14-inch extended mode when you lower the keyboard a little to use the screen, and dual screen mode when you use the entire 17-inch screen as a dual screen. In desktop mode, the screen can be erected using the integrated kickstand.
In extended mode or laptop mode, the keyboard automatically attaches to the designated location with a magnet, and the screen in the hidden area automatically turns off. via GIPHY
When unfolded, the thickness of the product is 8.5mm, similar to that of a smartphone, and the weight is 1.35kg.
The keyboard is an ultra-slim product capable of wireless charging, and a pen capable of wireless charging can be used in tablet mode.
The screen uses an LG OLED panel that has received IMAX Enhanced certification, and the speakers utilize a quad speaker system mounted on all four corners.
It is also equipped with various software for remote work. It provides software such as walk-away locking and remote content control, and allows users to directly protect their personal information through functions such as screen brightness adjustment.
These products ensure maximum sustainability by using coffee grounds, recycled aluminum, and recycled plastic as much as possible. As a result, it received a gold rating from the US electronic product eco-friendly certification system ‘EPEAT’ and also acquired the ‘Energy Star’ certification given to eco-friendly products by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Going forward, we aim to reduce carbon emissions by 50% by 2030 and 100% by 2040 (Net Zero).
HP’s So Byeong-hong, head of the HP Korea Personal System Category, expressed his thoughts on the new product during the panel discussion, saying, “We have prepared products tailored to the diverse needs of customers in line with the pandemic era.” HP defined its strategy tailored to customer personalization needs as ‘Future Ready’ and announced that it will continue to release more diverse products than currently available.
HP’s new product will run an experience zone with four concepts: sharing, work, sustainability, and gaming over two days from the 6th to 7th at ‘Time After Time’ in Seongsu-dong.
Envy Move is scheduled to be released within two weeks and sold for around 1.5 million won. In the case of the HP Specter foldable, the release date and price have not been set.
