Wittichenau. In the end, Mayor Markus Posch summarized in three sentences what the community development concept should achieve for his city by 2035: “The most important thing is demography. We have to manage NOT to be where the Stala sees us in 2035. You have to make Wittichenau so attractive for locals and “newcomers” in every respect that the city is, will and will remain a permanent home – and offer “returnees” the opportunity to gain a foothold again.”
