“How Xbox is Responding to Competition and Preparing for Upcoming Shows: Insights on Phil Spencer’s Latest Interview”

Xbox is going through a relatively more difficult period, with the obstruction of the acquisition of Activision Blizzard, the unsuccessful launch of Redfall and the general absence of exclusive blockbusters. Now it seems that its representatives no longer want to let the pressure from the competition like – in a recent interview, the head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, also commented on the subject. Whereas in the past, a big PlayStation presentation might have been accompanied by congratulations from Xbox (historically, it was customary for brands to publicly congratulate each other congratulated to success, in the pursuit connecting players of all platformsas even Geoff Keighley tried to do at the Game Awards show), this time Xbox reacted in a slightly different way: by reminding how many of the games shown will also be offered on its platform.

As we also discussed in our podcast, the competition is healthy and ultimately beneficial for players: it forces companies to offer better services, better titles, and better prices, among other things. So it will be very interesting to watch and compare the upcoming Xbox show, which is scheduled for June 11 and is also expected to be followed by a detailed presentation of the highly anticipated Starfield. At the same time, it is worth reminding that Nintendo is also preparing for its summer show, among other things by renting out exhibition spaces at this year’s Gamescom.
