How Would The Last of Us Part I Look as an FPS in Photo Mode?

©

Since 2013, we have been accustomed to looking at the post-apocalyptic events of The Last of Us from the point of view of a third-person shooter. But if things were different, would the series have had the same impact? Images created in The Last of Us Part I Photo Mode showcase a new, FPS-like angle.

The photos posted by Twitter user “Ceraphyte” allow fans to look directly into Joel and Ellie’s eyes and show different events in the game from a different perspective. The result is more realistic detail and a level of immersion never seen before. Check out some of the screenshots below:

It is worth noting that there are no mods or any other means of changing the focus in the images. They were all made entirely in the game’s photo mode, thanks to the lens feature being able to “transfer” the field of view to the faces of the characters by editing the angle, lighting and depth.

The Last of Us Part I is available for PS5 and PC.
